Core doctrine

Competitive Squad is a game of information, coordination and resource management. Games are rarely won by one player’s aim. They are won when the whole team executes sound doctrine together.

1Information superiority

The team that knows where the enemy is, and stops the enemy knowing the same, holds the initiative.

2Economy of force

Tickets, vehicles and FOBs are finite. Spend them only when it moves you towards the objective.

3Concentration of effects

Combine several elements for a decisive result at one point instead of spreading effort thinly.

4Sustained pressure

Keep momentum so the enemy cannot regroup, resupply or reposition.

5Adaptability

Doctrine is a framework, not a script. Leaders use judgement when the situation changes.

Every later chapter comes back to these principles:

  • Callouts and markers exist for information superiority.
  • Logistics and rally discipline are economy of force.
  • The lane system balances concentration against sustained pressure.
