Encirclement
An encirclement is a state of the game where one side is flanked on multiple sides, has no rallies left to back up its HAB, and is slowly getting farmed while the enemy tightens the noose. Getting encircled costs a lot of tickets fast; surrounding the enemy wins games.
The HAB is surrounded from several sides, its rallies are burned, and defenders spawning in are farmed while the enemy tightens the noose.
Get out of the HAB building, push out to re-establish a buffer zone around it, and retake the flanks so the enemy can't close in.
Encircled?
Section titled “Encircled?”Spawning into the HAB and running into the same fire over and over only feeds the enemy tickets. Break the ring instead:
- 1Break away
Get out of the HAB building instead of dying in it.
- 2Buffer zone
Push out and re-establish a buffer zone around the HAB.
- 3Retake the flanks
Clear the flanks so the enemy can’t close the ring again.
The best protection is not getting there: defend the HAB from the outside and keep a retake rally off the enemy’s routes (see Defending a HAB).
Surrounding the enemy
Section titled “Surrounding the enemy”- Surround the enemy from multiple angles
- Burn all their rallies, so the HAB is their only spawn
- Tighten the ring slowly and keep the crossfire going
- Run into the frontline meat grinder. Let them come out to you
